In all of its stripey glory, here is that one Rivendell sock. It took me most of two weeks to do, and I concentrated on knitting nothing but this sock for all of that time. That was the hardest part; I've had the attention span of a bird for a little while now. In a week or two, Amazing A-- and I will start a knit-along of another Rivendell sock, which I've ordered a different ball of yarn for.
Meanwhile, I'm putting the finishing touches on my workshop. It's such a great thing, to actually be able to find what I'm looking for quickly, and to have definite places to put things that I come across in other parts of the house. It makes me want to spend more time down in my craft room, and when summer comes, it will be the coolest place under our roof.
Last week I skeined off that bobbin of singles and set the twist. It turned out as a fingering weight, and it's lovely. I tried to put up a picture of it here but this wireless connection just didn't want to cooperate more than once. Let me try one more time... nope, it's just not working today. Maybe next time.
