Yoshi

This is Yoshi, our Honda Fit. He's a great little car -- we haven't found anything that won't fit in the back yet, and on the road he gets over 40 mpg.

What's funny about Yoshi is that people stop me and ask me about this car, in parking lots, at the gas station, everywhere we go. When we were in Seattle a few weeks ago, the Emperor and I were on the highway near downtown and we heard an insistent honking behind us. Just then, another Fit passed us, with the driver waving madly and grinning at us. We've also been stopped by other Fit owners for small gush sessions -- gushing about our cars.

So I guess one doesn't just own a Fit, one becomes part of a movement.

Speaking of movement, there has been some progress on both the Lotus Tank and the second Tofutsie Sock, but not enough to photograph or announce them as finished. I've been knitting a little each day, but I've also been really busy doing other things, too.

Speaking of other things to do, I think I need to sign off and get home and make dinner.
