On hold, a bit

Eye Candy Friday is on hold for a bit... I don't have any worthy pictures to share. I don't even have any knitting progress to report, beyond a few rows on the Omobre Hombre sock.

One of the items of clothing recently added to the fashion arsenal at Orchard Ranch was a dark lavender-rose cardigan. It's very cropped, and it's cute as heck (and lest you gasp with horror at the extravagance, I got it on sale or I never would have given it a second look). However, this cardi needs, requires, demands a tank top or other shell to go underneath it. I bought a sleeveless sweater that will do, but the newly created Knitter in me urges self-sufficiency. As a result, I'm revisiting all of those little summer patterns I routinely pass over, looking for a little something to knit up in a DK weight made from linen or cotton or even bamboo or silk. I'm thinking cream, or a caramel gold. Something with a crocheted edge, maybe.

As if I needed to line up any more projects.

I could design it myself. It would be a simple enough project.

Finish the sweater first. Must...finish...sweater.
