Not sure exactly where, but this is somewhere in east-central Arizona, on Highway 60, at about nine o'clock in the morning. These are the landscapes I fell in love with when I lived in Arizona, it's where my mind goes when I dream, and it's where I'm going to live when I retire.I've been pecking away at a garter-stitch afgan square to send to Sugar Bunny for her "Rebuilding Greensburg, Block By Block" campaign. Laura is collecting squares and has some of her church friends helping with the sewing up of afgans to give to the folks who lost everything in the Greensburg, Kansas tornado. It's easy knitting (when I don't make stupid mistakes) and goes quickly, so I hope to make more than one. It's the least I can do to help. If you have some spare yarn and a little time, join in the fun.
All other knitting is progressing slowly, but still moving forward. I have yet another trip coming up next week, this time to western New York. Travel knitting might be a garter square, or the socks I need to finish... I don't know if any yarn stores are in the cards, but if I find one, there will be a write-up here at Orchard Ranch.
