Here we go again, rip it, rip it. I made another fatal mistake, this time on the Revisited Chanel sweater. Yeah, it was only a stockinette square, but in that fuzzy boucle I couldn't see what I was doing... probably wouldn't have seen the mistake, either, but let's hear the chorus, yes, but you would know, and that should be enough...
Harumph. I also frogged the one nearly-done sleeve for the Emperor's seamless hybrid, and then started it about four times before I got to where I am now (about an inch of cuff). The first one was far too big for E's arm. Meanwhile, the body is almost done -- haven't found a way to kill it yet, I suppose.
My one recent success is another Greensburg square, this time the correct size and I even noted how many rows it took to get there, so I can do it again without guesswork. I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease, which works into a lovely, crispy garter stitch and a nice square square. I have several orphan skeins of Wool-Ease in nice colors and I'm glad to put them to good use.
Meanwhile, I'm not allowing myself to start anything new (see how long that lasts) or to buy new yarn until I shake whatever is making me mess up my knitting to the point of frogging. Whenever that is.
