How many have your name?

Whew, I've been busy. Been gone out of town again, but I'm home for a while now, at least I hope so.

The Sheepish Look tea cozy is nearly finished -- all I have to do is put on the eyes, stuff the head, and then attach it to the body. It's still looking pretty cute. My Tofutsie sock is in the heel-turning stage, and I've left the Celtic Tote, the Lotus Tank and all other projects alone and at home while I've been traveling. Plus, when I'm home I'm too zonked to work on lace or a complicated cable.

Yet another bag has arrived at Orchard Ranch, this one courtesy of a friend in Los Angeles who decided that I needed, needed a Diane Von Furstenburg business bag, fresh from TJ Maxx, to house my soon-to-be coming laptop. What's funny about that is that I've met Miss Von Furstenburg professionally, and can tell you some inside scoop about her: she's a nice lady, and she wears her own designs. So for me, Mrs. Bargain Basement, to own a real DVF bag is nothing short of miraculous, or maybe hilarious. I'll put up a photo later.

The new laptop will be lighter than my present machine, which is going on six years old now (the old one still works, but now the Emperor will have one dedicated to his GPS and other delights, all to himself). It will also have wireless capability so I'll be able to stay tuned in when I'm on the road. Or at least, more tuned in than I currently am.
