That's the "Sheepish Looks" tea cozy, all finished and on the pot. I didn't like the look of the teeny little embroidered eyes, so I got some inexpensive buttons and gave them a layered look.
He's looking at you. He's finished, just in time for it to warm up enough that hot tea doesn't sound as appealing as it did just a few weeks ago. But, a friend is coming in August and bringing his buddy fresh from England, so we'll be able to welcome them in proper style.
I also promised a picture of the Diane Von Furstenburg bag that my friend sent me from Los Angeles. I've already used it, and it's great. Won't I just be the picture of snazzy business fashion when I get on the plane carrying this?
I normally wouldn't choose somthing with animal print, but in this case, it's just enough to say "now." Or at least, "some time in the recent past." Oh, heck, a bag's a bag.

That is the cutest tea cozy I have ever seen. And the button eyes are perfect.
I didn't understand the need for tea cozies until recently, because I didn't grow up drinking tea and when I finally started, I only brewed tea by the cup. Now I realize it's nice to have the pot stay warm until you're ready for the last cup, but even if I didn't, I might be tempted to make a cozy that cute.
