This lovely photograph was nabbed from the closest thing there is to an official website for Ioan Gruffudd. One of the pleasures of keeping a blog is indulging yourself and your friends, isn't it? I'm going to enjoy watching this talented young actor develop as time goes by. I wish Mr. Gruffudd a long and successful career.
There is actually some knitting knews... those miles of stockinette for Pellew's Pelisse came to a sudden halt when I looked at the pattern on Tuesday night. For some reason I had been going along under the assumption that I had to crank out 190 rows to finish the back, but it really was only 160 rows. Quickly, I picked up my knitting and checked the counter -- I had finished 158 rows. Whoo hoo, it was like getting an unexpected package in the mail! The back is now finished and put aside until the rest has been knitted. The next piece is already on the needles and showing quick progress. I'm still loving that superwash wool -- it's so soft.
Psycho Stripe Sock Two is humming along just fine. The Purple Fetching Glove One is finished, and Two is on the needles. Next up will be the first hat for Wooly Hat Week.
