I don't remember whether this mosaic was Etruscan or Roman, but it's on the wall in a stairwell at the British Museum in London. I love mosaics, and if I were to become employed at a university again, I might aim at a master's and specialize in mosaics, or maybe in calligraphy, as in illuminated texts. Or in fiber. Oh, heck, so much to do and so little time.There are a couple of new links to the sidebar, added just for grins and giggles.
Pellew's Pelisse progresses, there is no new sock materializing on the needles, and I'm carrying the French Market Bag to and from work with me but not getting any stitching done. It's not quite a knitting desert but I'm not Miss Productivity, either. However, it is Friday and I'm looking forward to a good weekend and some knitting time. I hope you are, too.
