This comes to you because a graduate student is doing an experiment for a presentation at his professional conference, and I can't resist lending a hand because There, for the Grace of God, Went I at one time.
Acephalous has asked that we in the Blogosphere help him measure the speed that a meme travels through cyberspace. What you can do to help is to go read and then link to his blog post requesting that you link to his blog post, and that you explain his experiment in your blog. Then, go to Technorati and "ping." Don't neglect to at least have a look at his link to a chain letter, which is pretty funny. They don't write them like they used to, do they?
Anyway, please do this grad student a favor so that he can have an interesting presentation at the Modern Languages Association annual meeting, and if you happen to be going to that conference make sure you go and hear what he had to say.
My readership isn't particularly wide, so I don't think I'm contributing much to your experiment, Acephalous. But, here it is for all it's worth!
