Sock stuff... oh, man. I got about halfway through the toe decreases and discovered a major error, made by me. I've been tinking back for hours, trying to get it all right again... and still plan to finish over the weekend and get numbah two started. I've made an appointment with K-- to model the finished sock (she has nicer legs and ankles than I do) for my camera on Monday, so there's even a loose deadline.

I'm thinking that the next sock might be the bed socks, also in Nancy Bush's Knitting Vintage Socks. It gives me a chance (more like, excuse) to get a skein of Mountain Colors yarn. Don't ask me what color... I'll just have to see what's in the shop at the moment I'm there and go with my gut on this.

Oh, heck, it's only yarn, not brain surgery or world peace, for goodness' sake.

Pi Shawl took two steps forward, one step back for a near-fatal error, but it was fixed with the use of a lifeline and surgical frogging.

I'll be in Nearby Medium Town tomorrow for a hair appointment and a chance to sit in a Honda Fit, and I hope for a shot at the second of two yarn stores there. We'll also swing through Costco and World Market, because it's part of the ceremony... and we need some juice glasses.
