put the sock down

and walk away slowly, before you do any more damage. I have been working on the Child's French sock pretty steadily, but did something stupid today and I might have really screwed it up. So cross your toes for me. If this can't be fixed, I think it will break my knitter's heart.

Here's another flower out of my garden for Eye Candy Friday. This flower bed has been a lot of fun.

We spent the past few days in Yellowstone, but I didn't have time today to upload my photos for you. That just means that next week I'll have something fun to post. This weekend will be sparse for knitting, because I have a hairy writing project to finish in the next two days. Oh, well, it's been a good knitting summer, once I crawled out of the frog pond. Musn't whinge now.
