This photo was taken from almost at the top of the Beartooth Highway. We had stopped here to have a picnic at the top of the world, and the wind nearly blew us off our feet. That didn't stop us from getting out the rolls, cheese and fruit and making a good day of it.Socktoberfesters take note: I finished the first Ombre Hombre Sock last night. Number two is on the needles and in progress. I plan on finishing the first sleeve for Pellew's Pelisse by the end of the weekend, and to do some more spinning on that sock yarn.
Plus, I plan to enjoy these sparkling autumn days.
